What are the siting requirements for a new boiler. The soon to be nw abode has no heading and boiler, and the planned extension will make the left and back outside walls into inside walls.... and the right wall is where the living rooms are.
Does it make sense to have heating installed now and then move the boiler when the extension is built? Or suffer the coldness until the extension is ready? Not sure of the time lag... won't complete until April and then got to get planning etc.
Thanks in advance,
K

Is that your only option for siting?
What about loft positions or positions where the flue (chimney as its now known) can be taken vertically?0 -
I'd complete the extension first before considering the central heating. You can use electric heating for the next few months and you won't need gas central heating again until November. It won't cost that much more than gas for just a few months....as long as you use it wisely and don't leave it on all the time.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
