I have been typing out a posting which has took several hours as it required copying a document, adding queries, researching comparing and adding questions to it...i got to the last paragraph and pressed somehow I think instead of shift and a letter (to make a capital) perhaps ctrl and a capital letter which took me to tk maxx site and said oops...I then went tog o back and MSE then took me to the 'log in' page...I fear I have lost the whole lot and will have to do the entire posting again...but is there a way I can recover it? but have to say I'm not hopeful...any one know I'd be most appreciative as you can imagine I feel like tearing out my hair with frustration not least as I am really pushed for time.... thanks!

While you were still in the browser, if clicking the back and forward buttons did not bring back the post, then you have probably lost it.

Something I have learnt as this has happened to me before is to compose long messages in a word-processor. It will also check your spelling and grammar like this for instance;):

Remember to save the document periodically though!

Reason: 'spellong error' ....yes I saw that after it went up and didn't change it...ha

like this 'peiodically':D ....did you do that on purpose?

ah thanks anyway, for replies...I did fear that I'd lost it...for ever...and yes now I wish i had done it in 'word' or even copy, cut and paste it to that, periodically - that's a good idea. I will take extra precautions in future to avoid a repeat...Anyone its happened to will know how annoying it is, I could scream....
