Halifax charges reclaim

Anyone had any experience/luck with Halifax so far?

We (Mum), Definitely fits in the criteria for this, and have already found fees in excess of £3k and I don't think I've gone through all the paperwork yet..

Just wondered if anyone had been successful with reclaiming charges from Halifax and whether they got close to the full amount they'd asked for?

If you mean criteria of being in financial hardship then Halifax, like other banks, will review your case. How much they refund under goodwill is up to them but generally they look at your spending over the last 6 months and your current financial position and see what impact the charges are having. They then decide how much and how far back they will go.
