You know the type of thing where you can get your test in a weekend/week or whatever?

My brother who studies in Liverpool had wanted to do that here, but couldn't get a place and done it in Liverpool instead.
I suppose if you were dead set you could pay cheap flights to get across the water, some of them come with accomodation.
Have you done any lessons at all? My driving instructor was ace and could fit you in a few times a week I'm sure and get you through it in a few weeks? I can pass you his details if necessary0 -
There's a guy in my work who does that (see his car in the car park). It's a week intensive course and someone who works with me done it in Dec and passed. Off the top of my head it was £250ish + your test fees. Portadown area, if thats any why local let me know and I'll get his number.0

There was something offered on Groupon recently, Belfast area from memory. Maybe the same company who placed the offer would be worth checking:
http://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/belfast/a1-driving-school/2916739 (sold out, for info only)
I think they have advertised similar on other sites too, so may do an offer again.
Don't know anything about them, though, so can't say how good they are or the offer is. Maybe another MSE'r can advise you.butterfly )i(0 -

Sorry if this reads like an advert, but copied it from the work website.
Want to pass your test as soon as possible? Then an intensive course of lessons could be the answer.
For example:- if you need 20 hours of tuition you might do 6 x 3 hour sessions then 2 hours before your test, or a combination of 3 and 4 hour sessions depending on your circumstances.
All courses include the day of the test (normally £80)
10 hour course £250
15 hour course £350
20 hour course £450
Longer courses priced on application. Gift vouchers available.
DOE approved, qualified ADI instructer.
Dual controlled car.
Craigavon, Armagh and Cookstown test centres covered.
nb. To book an intense course you must have your theory test passed.0 -
