PayPal access card seems blocked

I am despairing with my Paypal Access Card! I have an £800 balance and when I log into the paypal access card site it says active and shows my available amount being my paypal balance.

My Pin is correct I checked it on line.

Yet been to 2 petrol stations and 1 restaurant and the card has been declined
Went to ATM and no money was given out.

Seems the card is somehow blocked yet showing on their site as active.

Called their friendly customer service number from the paypal access card site and it is a messaging company - they answer the phone and simply take a message to pass to Paypal for someone to call me back. Called 4 times now over 4 days and left 4 messages with the english based agent who answers the phone. My details have been passed to a 'Senior Admin' who apparently will call me back now 4 times.

Not a big deal as I just withdrew it to my bank account yesterday and paid the £5 express fee but really frustrating that the card is active with a balance and is showing as active yet it is declined when I use it.

Any one any advice for how to contact someone? Or get this resolved?

I know that the card is not accepted on petrol forecourts.
Not sure why your card was not accepted at the restaurant..
I only use mine at the Post Office...

It was inside a petrol station - just weird - it's their lack of customer support that is frustrating.

I guess I will just stop using it no loss really but it has worked fine for months...
