Windows live photo gallery help needed

I have just fused two pics in Windows live photo gallery but cant seem to work out how to change hair colour and delete certain objects from the pics without ruining them, this is the first time I have used this software, can anyone point me in the direction of a simple to use tutorial - thanks for any help:)

I've never used it myself, but im pretty sure it cant be used for that. You probably need photoshop or similar:idea:0
