I've just opened the halifax Cardcash account and was wondering what the debit card looks like (and performs). Anyone got a photo?

It is A CARD with HALIFAX written on it and a chip on the right hand side.
In the middle there will be a 16 digit PAN number.
Under that will be your name and under that the sort code and account number.
In fact all debit cards with most banks are exactly designed this way.
I can picture it in my mind now - can't you?
It will work just like any debit card - provided you have cleared funds in your account to meet any payments made. If the cardcash account is the Halifax equivalent of a basic account you can only withdraw funds at a cashpoint of Lloyds/TSB, Halifax or Post office counters.
You will be able to get cashback at any store offering this service.0 -
