I've no idea about how moneysaving or what sort of service they provide or anything, but I have seen ads for woodcall.com, who seem to be a local set up and deliver.

How many blocks does that work out at - and was it actually seasoned?

I use Ards fuels for coal myself, but do they do bulk bags of wood (1m3 bags)?

What's the guys name - is he in Ards?
    Regards, Robin.

Also is there a noticable difference between burning hardwood and softwood in a fireplace - does the hardwood burn for longer/hotter etc?

What's the guys name - is he in Ards?

Both recs are Ards area for Bulk Bags

Ards fuels Alan Brown is Jubliee Road near Mot center

The other guy on 07813167488(bulk-bag delivery) is called McKee

Hardwood will burn for longer but will be more expensive/ as not as plentiful

Softwood tends to burn hotter but it doesn't last very long.

For firewood try asking on here...

Edit: On second thoughts, that directory doesn't seem to include NI. There are members in that area though.
