Will Making a Bigger Kitchen Devalue My House

Our kitchen is quite small and is of a galley style which makes it an awkward shape. So to improve the situation we've been thinking of converting our back room into a kitchen and making the kitchen into a utility room.
Does anyone have any idea what this would do to the value and sell-ability of the house?
Thanks?

Providing you have a decent sized lounge
I suspect it would increase it, people like good sized kitchens.
We had a small kitchen in our last place and it was the one thing people commented on when we came to sell.0 -
Cant believe I didn't notice how small ours is. I think they removed everything from the work surfaces to make them appear bigger. Plus the long work surface is quite long. However because its got an oven a sink and a draining board on it, it doesn't leave much room for working.
The mother in law clocked it and thought it was odd we choose the house because of the small kitchen, but didn't actually say anything at the time! :doh:SIMPLE SIMON - Met a pie man going to the fair.
