Vat receipts

Hi guys great to be here some fantastic reading so far. Im hoping someone can help me out here. I have received a vat invoice from viking direct and another one from pc world business that dont seem quite right to me, does any one have a a copy of either of these invoices they could share so i can compare with what i have received (OBVIOUSLY BLACK OUT YOUR NAME AND DETAILS !!) its the layout i need to verify as my client does seem a bit keen to get his vat return in (HIGHLY UNUSUAL IN MY EXPERIENCE LOL). Its only a reclaim for a few hundred pounds but some people will try anything to bring their liabilities down.

thanks

  • I suspect that the Credit Cards Board is not the best place to post this query.

What an odd question. Wouldn't it be better to ask the specific question you have about the receipts?
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

Why don't you ring PC world accounts department and ask if they would helpfully fax a copy of the invoice to you because the bottom half has accidentally become illegible due to a coffee spill;)

I doubt that version. If the OP simply wanted a receipt they could buy something cheap like a ream of A4 paper, or an ink cartridge and then copy their other details across..

Good point but I like to introduce a little intrigue to the thread. :)

A very strange question, asking people to show their invoices but without bothering to explain what the problem seems to be?

OP, what is it that makes your paperwork "not quite right"? I bet the solution can be found without the need for uploading images.

sounds like someone one recipts so that they can claim to be running a business, eg setup further trade accounts etc
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Usually professional advisors are not in the business of checking that the paperwork they have been supplied by clients is fake. (Except for "know your customer" AML type ID checks or audit work.)
