pipes from toilet banging

we have had work done on the inside bits of the toilet where the water comes in to fill it but now the pipes are continually banging any sugestions what to do to stop them banging

    first thing is to turn the main stopcock down. the plumber may have turned it higher than it was before.
    second is make sure hes fitted the correct valve part. there are low pressure and high pressure types.
    Get some gorm.
  • Your plumber may have forgot to fit the pressure reducer spiral that fits into the bottom of the fill valve. It looks like a spiral piece of pasta. Ask them if they did or not.

    or took the flow restrictor out when he should have left it in which is, I suspect, more likely.
