Bank error advice

Hi all.
I used to bank with lloyds and last year i put in a PPI claim with them with Blue sky claims. It has been ongoing for over a year and in that time i changed my address 3 times. I told the lloyds complaints department and Blue sky claims every time i changed address giving them my new details.

Just before christmas i got some letters from an old house mate. Amongst these was a cheque for over £900 for my PPI refund but the letter and cheque was dated the beginning of august. I cashed it and recieved the money but blue sky were still sending me txt messages saying there had been a delay and i was going to get it after christmas.
Today that same housemate gave me more letters that came recently and there was another cheque for the same amount.
I don't know what to do. I have done some investigating online and all i can see is stuff about funds being paid directly into your account by your bank. I intend to cash this into my new Barclays account, as i did with the other cheque.

Am i likely to be rumbled with a demand of repayment?? The only other option i can think of is taking it to a pawnbrokers, give them their cut and walk away with the cash, but they will still have to cash that cheque right?? And it has my name on it....
Thanks for reading. Any help and advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

I was going to cash it, clear my debts now. If they ask for it back, i'll plead poverty and ask for a repayment plan, after all it was their error.

It's a computer error. Because the first cheque wasn't cashed (and the amount owing wiped off the system), the computer generated another.

As you know that it is an error, cashing it will be theft and prosecutable as such.
