Help needed please

I have just orderd a new car delivery 6-8 weeks and need to pay a balance of £7k.
I have got savings to cover this but dont want to use them.I've got an Abbey CC (issued by MBNA) with a £9k limit but only the usual 56 days intrest free.Abbey state that they can transfer the funds to my personal current account for 2% to enable me to pay by debit card. The car dealership will taken my CC but again charge a 2% handling fee.
I know i am being greedy but could do without these extra charges.

Anyone got any suggestions or advice on companies that will give a £7k limit on a 0% deal on this purchase???

What APR rate is Abbey offering on that balance transfer?

I assume 0%, but is it on purchases AND balance transfers?

Virgin will balance transfer money to your bank account at 0% for 9 months with no fee. Nobody can say what credit limit they will give you though.

EDIT: I should have mentioned it is also an MBNA card. Normally you can ask for the credit limit to be transfered from an old MBNA card to a new one. They have been tightening up recently so I'm not 100% sure it is still true.

Otherwise go for an Egg card - also fee free although the 0% doesn't last quite so long.
