Lost Mobile Signal @ Home

I have recently moved house and since doing so, have lost my mobile phone signal when I am in or around my new property. I have moved literally 5 minutes away from when I used to live. Is there any reason this would happen and if there any device I can purchase that would increase my mobile signal at home?

To put the distance change into perspective, google maps says it takes 4 mins to walk from my old post code to my new post code. I am on Orange Network if that makes any difference and the T-Mobile signal wont even come thru strong enough to make a decent call:o

I have the same problem at my house.
Very poor & usually no mobile 02 signal.
Dont think there are any devices to boost your reception.
Only thing to do is get some mates round with different providers. Maybe one of the other providers have a stronger signal

I have a vodafone suresignal as my coverage is poor in my place. It connects to your router and goes out via the internet, but I don't think Orange do a similar thing.

You might want to invest in something like this..

They are not cheap, but are quite affective.

  • At the moment the options are very limited.

There are repeaters available in the UK to buy but these are technically illegal - what the chances of being caught are who knows? I've seen them installed before.

I used to have an issue with my Orange mobile phone signal then I got a GSM1800 mobile phone signal booster from these guys.

I've had it for around 3 years now and never have an issue with phone signal.

They are a little expensive but worth every penny as I cant live without my blower.

Call Orange and explain your issue. Demand a discount.

Which phone do you have? If you have a BlackBerry, Orange do UMA to solve this issue.
