Promo code "JAN" didn't make any difference to the prices.
Prices are OK but what I checked Hotels4u were marginally cheaper + you can get quidco cashback.

I wouldnt stay at a UK hotel.

At some point they started charging 1/4 of a months rent for a single night.

Hope they all go bust

hotels4u are definitely cool too. I've just checked and Tripbox was still lower than hotels4u so maybe they just fluctuate up and down. Tripbox is on quidco http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/cashback-websites so I guess you've got two low cost websites to choose from. Not sure about cashback sites though, do they really work as I read on MSE that cashback isn't guaranteed.

@anna asked for a discount code on their ask for a discount offer on facebook and it is 'january' not JAN and you need to use a Chrome or firefox browser as per their reply.
