Energy Efficiency Group, trustworthy?

I've just had a cold call from the energy efficiency group, offering to come round to advise me how to save money in my loss of heating from my windows. Are they trustworthy, has anyone heard of them, or are they just trying to sell me new windows?

Not a comment on them directly, but I would NEVER allow any cold-caller (phone or house) entry to my property without them first sending through the post something that I can read up on and use to check them out.
Any legitimate company should be happy to send information through the post first. The only companies that won't are those that rely on hard-selling or scamming, which is far easier if they are already in your home and using their trained techniques to manipulate you.0
