How do I get the smell out of inside of rubber gloves?

I've got some True Blues from Lakeland...basically very sturdy (and very expensive) rubber gloves.

I've had them for over a year without any sign of deterioration but the issue is that my hands STINK when I take them off.

Can anyone think of a way of deodorizing/sanitising them please?

If you have some bicarb that's good for neutralising odours.

Turn them inside out. Put them on. "Wash your hands". Leave to dry.

  • I usually sprinkle some taclum powder inside before I use rubber gloves as it stops the nasty pong and makes them easier to get off

Agree with squeaky, that is really the best way to keep em smelling sweet. I also put a bit of handcream on before putting them on. This also makes them easy to take off again.

And, if the water is hot, then that helps the handcream to soak into the skin better.
