I am not sure if this is a matter for the cache and cookies, but if you can help I would be grateful.
Chrome on Lion OSX.
I tried to access a 4od programme which was 30 days old and was asked to register or sign up. I then found programmes in the 7 day range but still was required to register.
I cleared cache and cookies, still no effect. I did not close Chrome.
I checked the terms and Channel 4 say that you only have to register if the programme is over 28 days since broadcast or not yet broadcast.
What am I doing wrong?

I dont want to register. I will email the site and tell them that they seem to be blocking people who dont register. If I get a reply I will update.0

What shows are you trying to watch?0

Just went there, clicked on a program (rules of engagement) & it started playing without the need for registration (IE9)0

I don't know if it affects Chrome - but I know 4oD's done somethign to their site this week blocking people who use adblocker software (cos adblock used to stop you having to sit through the 3 ads before stuff played) - took me a bit of fiddling to get Firefox working again with it... could it be connected to the problem you're having?Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

Yes, it does affect Chrome, but it works perfectly with adblock disabled. That's with Windows 7 though, not Lion.0 -
I do use adblocker, I will try without it. Thanks0
