Looking for a charity that could use 300+ comics

Options
Have been having a hard time finding a charity to approach that could make use of 300+ comics (spider-man batman etc). I live in the High Wycombe area and would be happy to deliver within a reasonable distance. Would be extremely grateful for any suggestions as to suitable types of charity I could focus my search on.

  • I suppose it depends on whether the comics are worth something. If they are, then many charities would be grateful to receive something that can be auctioned. If not, it is more difficult to think of somewhere. Maybe charity shops?

These were my thoughts too. When I had a pile of Games Workshops magazines and books to dispose of, I gave them to the local shop to give out to new aficionados on their 'games nights'. An after school club might be glad of them for the older children. Possibly the local children's hospital. But making money out of them, more difficult unless they are in MINT condition.
Signature removed for peace of mind
  • Thanks for the replies. I don't think the comics are worth anything, certainly not worth auctioning. Will investigate childrens hospitals as a possibility, if not then the local charity shop (which is starting to look like my spare room) will receive them.
