Parking Eye at Sunderland Royal Hosp

I have received several demands from parking eye for a charge for parking at Sunderland Royal Hosp. I replied to them and informed parking eye that I was not the driver and i didn't enter into any kind of contract with anyone on the day in question as I was at work. They sent me another letter threatening me with baliffs and court action if i didn't pay. I have informed them several times that I am refusing to pay the charge. They keep replying that my appeals have been unsuccessful. My response to them is that I am not appealling against anything just refusing to pay. I have now received a final demand from them telling me that it will be the last time they contact me and if i don't pay, they will instruct their solicitors to take action against me. I have replied to their letter informing them that if they continue to contact me and or anyone else acting on their behalf tries to contact me i will report them to the relevent authorities for harrassment. Also, i have informed them that this is the last time i respond to tparking eye. I am taking a firm stance on this and won't buckle under any pressure from them to pay them any money. I hope this is the last i have heard from them but only time will tell. If they do send in the baliffs do they have any right to access my property and can they clamp my car? cheers folks:beer:

You seem to be confusing bailiffs with debt collectors. The latter are just private citizens with no more powers than you or me to demand money off people. For "proper" bailiffs to become involved the case would have to go to court (very unlikely) you lose (very, very unlikely) and THEN you refuse to pay whatever the judge orders within 28 days. This is such a remote possibility that it's not worth worrying about.
