Thumbs up for Npower

Just wanted to say that we have been with Npower for last 6years and have never had any problems with them.

Statements arrive regulary with good breakdown of what we have used etc.

Customer services always polite and helpful if we have any queries.

I know you can save money by keep moving around but I cant cope with all that hassle to save a few pounds. I would rather stay as I am.

So once again thanks

Do you work for them? sorry had to ask before others did. Its a change to see positive as most people just post negative.
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
  • They must work for them , npower are cretins

Or maybe they have had no issues, always given reads and paid them?

I have been with Npower for years also, and they have been great - they always look to see which is the cheapest tariff for me (I call them regularly) and have always switched me without a problem, even if I am half way through a period without charging me. Every time I compare their prices, I always get negative savings, so they have always been cheapest for me. No, I don't work for them!

Just shows how our experiences differ. I would rather poke sharp sticks in my eyes that use NPower. I am very happy with Scottish Power. But there is bound to be someone on here who thinks they are terrible! :D

You do know that you are (financially) better off switching providers? I switch roughly every year and make around £150 per switch using the correct cashback website, etc.. Thats a couple of months electricity and gas paid for. :) I was last with NPower a few years ago, since then I have been with EDF and British Gas.. Now I am getting £40 cashback from uswitch (I think), as well as £100 Love Vouchers from NPower to go back to them..

All what hassle? 5 minutes on a comp site, 15 minutes on a switch site? If it saves you only £100pa, you've made that in 20 minutes. Does your own job pay £300 per hour?
(unless you're CEO of RBS maybe..)
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
