    So is what you are saying that there are lots of jobs in a very specific sector? Wouldn't it have been more polite to ask the OP what type of work he was looking for and where before implying that he's not trying hard enough?

    Erm didn't I? I believe the answer was he was in NI and a trained carpenter?! No?

    Since I am not in NI and I know nothing about being a carpenter I said I coudlnt help them as I was going to point out a few websites incase they hadn't tried them

    Like you said they are not employed to help you.They just want to check if you are meeting the criteria of being eligible for JSA and will take greaty satisfaction in trying to catch you out if you are not.

    Not alot, pretty much the same as signing for JSA. She looked at my book, looked at the computer, asked what I had worked at etc said she could do nothing for me.
