Assuming this is the first interview then they will ask what type of work you are looking for and where you are looking, tell you about other places you can look and how far away from home you have to look, and agree with you what you have to do each week in order to keep getting your money. This does seem to vary, mine was to look on a variety of websites at least three times a week, but other people have also had to make 2 applications each week - it probably depends on your job, mine is quite specialised so I was looking all over the country but could only apply when there were any jobs, if you can do a variety of things they are more likely to want you to be applying frequently. Don't sweat it too much, it's not an interrogation, they are there to help you find a job, not to stop you getting your JSA.

They are there to help you don't worry about it, they can advise you what to look out for when applying for jobs and or help you with your CV :)
It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun

I would like to know if any has had a similar experience with these interviews, it was one of these work focused type things where they point out what your doing wrong, jobs etc etc.

The interview took less than 5 mins, Showed her my work book, she had a check simply said there is nothing we can do for you, the work is not there. She said she could send me on a work based training program I assume she means this "Work Programme" but there would be no point as I have enough work experience and that was that, I am already doing all I can be doing, see you in 13 weeks.

the WP is not work based training - and no I have never had one of those interviews. Had one when I was out of work 13 weeks then 26 then 1 year and that was it apart from signing every other week then after 6 mths I went to the JC every week - 1 week to sign then week 2 to sit with 'advisor' for 10 mins to look on the JC job search for jobs and that was a 100 total waste of time.

It felt like I was wasting my own time as well as theirs, I have to wonder what the point of it was. Well at least it confirmed what I already thought the work is not there.
