News just in from an ET case in London. Doesn't directly give anyone the right to appeal a ticket, but am sure someone can use it as ammunition against these b###ds one way or the other!!

Not at all surprised considering this http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2082337/Hakim-Berkani-Traffic-warden-sacked-refusing-issue-tickets-motorists.html#ixzz1iZdoVMV1
Thanks for the heads up, I see you/someone has also posted it on pepipoo.com.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
Well done Mr Berkani but let's just wait for NSL to roll out the big guns and drag things through the EAT. Potentially, they have a lot to lose here and will probably be happy to invest in senior counsel and a minute dissection of Judge Burns ruling. Either that or it will be spun as a little minor local difficulty and the K & C Manager will be sacked. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
It's very interesting though, good on him! NSL control Council parking in a lot of areas and there could be more stuff about to come out of the woodwork from other employees now that this ruling has been publicised.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This is the bit that I find most concerning as far as the CEO's are concerned:-
The judge cited an email from Emma Collins, a regional manager with NSL, which read: "There are still significant numbers of people issuing at a rate of below 9 per hour... we should not feel uncomfortable to use the disciplinary process."I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
