Citreon xsara picasso problem

Sorry to bother everyone need abit of advice and help for my sister..

She has a citreon xsara picasso 2002 the heater/blower packed in 2 years ago and at the time one of her friends wired it to the battery. Yesterday the heater does not work at all. any ideas anyone

Usually the power transistor (sort of like a microchip) or possibly the blower fan controller, might the former is the most common.

I'd suggest you register on frenchcarforum and go to the Citroen section. Please do a search first and then post. You'll get a far better response if you do that, as it is a common problem with Citroens and has been asked umpteen times. It'll be appreciated if you show you've made some attempt to look for earlier replies first.

Also, if it is the power transistor, then they can usually recommend somewhere where you can buy one cheaply.
