I'm using outlook express and think there is a way to have abox come up on the desktop when you receive an email but I can't find it in the Options box.
Please can anyone explain how to set it up?
Thanks

If you have turned OE on, I think you will automatically get a notification icon in the Notification Area (formerly Systems Tray--by the clock). However, possibly you have turned that off. Right click in a blank spot in the Taskbar|Properties|Customize|in the Behavior column make sure "You have new Mail" is set to "Always Show".Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0

You might be getting Outlook Express confused with Outlook. With both you get the little envelope in the system tray but as far as I know only Outlook pops up a box with details of who is emailing and the subject. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0
