Hello,

I am trying to claim PPI back on 2 loans from 1999. By chance i found both agreements for loans whilst looking for something else and noticed that they both were with protection. Barclays have sent me the forms through but i am unsure how to answer some of the questions so if anyone could help then that what be fantastic...

The question i'm on is-

This page is for you to tell us anything else about your complaint-
including what happened when you took out the PPI.
For example, please tell us any details you remember about:

Where the sale took place and who you spoke to.

The information you were given before you took out this insurance.

How the cost, benefits and terms of the insurance were explained to you.

The questions you asked before taking out this insurance.

Why you decided to take out this insurance.

Any changes toy your health since you took out the insurance.

That is exactly how it is worded ad i want to be careful how i answer.

Any help would be really appreciated

Thank You

Sara

Telling the truth is the best way because if you lie and they have evidence to show what you have said is a lie then they can use that against you.

But i can't remember the details as it was 1999, and i think that if i write that they will then say that it wasn't mis-sold to me. Don't want to mess the whole claim up because of one question.
Oh i don't believe they will have any evidence as it was longer than 6 years ago and the reason they are looking into it is because i have all the original agreements.

If you cannot recall then say so. Those with perfect recollection after 13 years would be considered unusual. So, it would be expected for you to say cannot remember to some of the questions.
