Two people, one old boiler!
I'm just in the process of buying a flat. The boiler looked absolutely ancient on the wall. I'm fairly safety concious and whilst I don't mind getting an inspection, it is the type with a seperate hot water tank.
There's only two of us - I prefer the heating off, but my better half gets quite cold (hence the electric blanket in our house!)
I'd like to keep the gas as it's always handy when the electricity goes off. I'm thinking of replacing this with a combi boiler - any ideas what kind of pricing and payback time I'd have on this?
