Help in keeping clean and tidy

How about a Sticky thread with the above title?

As I hang on to my old computer as long as I can I'm a devoted fan of HOW TO SPEED UP A SLOW PC but I need more.

I make the case thus:

If, like me, you like to try out new software then don't have time to tidy up so just can't imagine what my main drive has on it and what state my registry is in and worse than that run a registry cleaner or similar that makes suggestions on what to automatically delete but then because I have deleted important stuff this way and can't understand what the items are don't have the courage to delete anything else then I need a thread (in layman's terms with ideas - especially what stuff goes with what programs)

Anyway I really came here because I saw P-Apps and it may be part of the answer? I just came across it and thought to share and get comment then got carried away.

Its not another clean up program, not a sandbox program, not a snapshot unistall program either (all of which I try to use to advantage) it is a program that seems to combine all 3. It isolates installations using a double system snapshot and in so doing, means you are not required to keep registry changes and it makes portable any program you might want to install.
It itself does not install but runs without installation.

I haven't fully tried it yet so be careful I have no idea if it affects your security. But as you can tell I have been to the web page and downloaded the free software and have not seen any adverse effects.

Looking at the demo, if it does what it says, it is something I think is worth having. And its free. And I can't think why I have never seen anything like it before.

Its here.
