I have recently bought a pair of these boots in leather but they are a bit tight across the top of my foot, does anyone who has bought a pair know if they stretch much?
Many thanks in advance

I'd say as a general rule leather losens and gives, you may gain some space but again it does depend on the style- I don't consider fitflop to use very dense leather (the type that they make bags from and takes years to losen) so I'd say they may gain a bit more space. However if they are so tight your feet go numb then dump them: this could cause you more problems then its worth and they may not stretch enough.
To help things, wear with thick socks around the house, wear in damp and drizzly weather (wet would ruin them but the damp would help to shape them and if your feet are pushing on the leather they'd eventually give.) You can- if they are hardened, bash them with a small hammer or similar where they feel too hardened and also if you have them, shoe stretchers (can be bought from places like Ikea, shoe menders and Clarks) left in when your not wearing them can also help.
Oh and if they hurt don't wear them everyday, your feel will need a break and if your having to shell out for plasters, your wallet will too!0 -

All of mine have loosened with wear - apart from the Superblizz which are very much on the small side (it is recommended to go a size up in those but I didn't)
You can buy a spray for stretching leather if neccessary. You spray it on, stuff the shoes with scrunched up newspaper or a shoe stretcher and then leave overnight to dry. I get mine from the local shoe repair but if you put "shoe stretching spray" into Google, you'll find loads of options on Amazon etcLiving with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
I love my fitflops. If I have to stand or walk for a long time I don't get the aches in my legs, hips and lower back that I used to get before.I need to make a new list for 2014
think of something to put on it!:rotfl:
Try harder for 2014 as I never managed it in 2012 or 20130 -
I can't wait for the weather to get warm enough for me to wear mine. I positively live in them weather permitting. I'm not sure about them toning you up but they are certainly extremely comfortable.
However, I recently saw a podiatrist who kindly informed me I have flat feetand she told not to wear the strapless kind as it doesn't do my condition any good therefore I have recently bought a pair called Positano which have a strap. Just word of warning to any fellow flat footers out there.

BubblesBonBon - I've got the Roma style which are the previous incarnation of the Positano but without the buckle. I can promise you that they are supremely comfortable and really sturdy. Fingers crossed you love'll them!Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0
