Should I Stay Or Should I Go Now

I've got myself into a situation from which I'm struggling to find a winning solution. Firstly, I'm married with 3 wonderful children. My wife and I get on, but our relationship has been chaste without any intimacy, even a kiss and a cuddle, for a few years. I have tried, believe me, and failed. And while I love my wife, it has faded to the love one might have for a sibling. I know my wife still loves me, but she no longer desires me. I fell into depression, which still persists. The depression is a subject that my wife does not want to talk about.
So I embarked on an affair and fell in love. Now my head is a maelstrom of thoughts about should I stay or should I go. Could I cope with not being with my children? Could my children cope? I may regret staying, but I fear I could resent a new partner if I go up resentment if I leave.

It is a shame you embarked on an affair rather than talk with your wife one way or other. Have you tried Relate, or someone else who can help you communicate better?
