Reclaim PPI after an IVA

Could someone please tell me if it's possible to claim back PPI charges after successfully completing an IVA? A company rang me and when I told him I'd be in an IVA he said I was entitled to nothing, seems a bit unfair considering increases in my wages during the IVA meant that I paid back everything I owed without any reduction, and paid 50% of my overtime too, in fact I probably overpaid.

It's just two years since it ended and I've had my letter and I'm slowly trying to build up my history again, I hadn't even thought of reclaiming charges but now he's put the idea in my head I'm eager to find out if I can?

If you are in an IVA then you will have paid back less to the lender than it was entitled to. If the complaint is upheld then any redress it awards will be put towards making up the difference in the first instance and then anything left over (if there is anything) will go to you.

Thank you for the reply, I understand that I should have paid less than I actually owed, and more than likely I did.

Does that mean that I am not entitled to claim back PPI's on the loans that were included in the IVA?

I successfully completed an IVA two years ago, before Christmas I submitted four PPI claims and I have received a letter today to advise two of my claims have been successful.

I'd say just fill the form in yourself and send to the banks, you have nothing to loose!
