Has anyone claimed back credit card PPI from 1988

I am new on the forum and need some help!!!

I took out a Nat West credit card in 1988 which had PPI on i cancelled the PPI about 18 months ago I have no balance on the card currently. would i be able to claim all those years back. I have a company hounding me to let them take the case on but didnt know if i would be as successful doing it myself as they charge 30% plus £100 admin fee

You stand more chance of being successful yourself than using a claims company. In the meantime, they make a minimum of £100 out of you and stand a good chance of getting more but it doesnt matter if they dont as their sales rep has made £100 and gets his cut from that. That is why he is eager.

Yes i was definately missold I actually worked for Nat West at the time and just filled out an application the PPI was always included. Having read what other people are saying I think I will give it a go myself just a bit unsure as the company that is hounding me are saying i will not get the results they will get as it is such an old account.
