Poor spelling and grammar annoys me, I recently saw this sign in PC World.

"Could of" drives me mad but worse than that is "could off" and "somethink" grrrrr.
My ex always stands on the upvc door frame and has actually broken it. I know he's doing it on purpose as he never did it when he lived here and does his evil bullying smile if he knows I've seen him.
People who drive an inch from my back bumper and people who park across my drive make me want to scream as well.
I know there's more but just trying to think is getting me wound up.

Our neighbours' son always park across our drive when he visits them. He know he's in the way, he'll even stand there by his car while I have to go and park somewhere else as I can't get onto my own property. Kn0b.

Cyclists on pavements, even worse if they ding their bell to get you to move out of the way.

My aunt got stopped by a police officer cycling on the pavement. The embarassment and £30 penalty ensured she didn't do it again!:D
A smile costs little but creates much :)

I really only have 2 pet peeves - random strangers who think its fine to stop mothers of babies in the street etc and tell them what they're doing wrong (might be a cultural thing, now I come to think of it, but omg it gets me riled ).
And folk in cars who stop in the middle of the street when they see someone they know driving in the opposite direction, both of them wind down their windows, and have a nice little chat. What the France is that all about?

Or they might just prefer Diet Coke - I do.

yep me too, I don't really like the taste of "fat" Coke or Pepsi, I can taste the difference between the fat version and the diet.

Can you park behind his, so he can't get out?

At my most narkiest I have parked mine horizontally, blocking them in when they have parked in our single, very obvious allocated space. The only way they can get it out is to come knocking on the door.

Apostrophies where they are not needed ("Now open on Sunday's")
Other incorrect grammar and spelling in signage ("Can't find what your looking for?")

    And most of all, this!:

    Argh yes this!
Soooo many takeaways are guilty of this "pizza's, burger's curry's" business!

Oh and I agree with you tealover about the OH problems... he is learning (VERY slowly) but then has relapse days where he leaves the cupboard open, and teabags on the side and then clothes everywhere. I like the idea of a spoon rest and I am the same about not being able to leave it, I am having house works done at the moment and I want to cry every time I go home as its so untidy and there's no point cleaning it when they're due back the next day (didn't stop me much though)

Another agreement - being apologised to by a machine - as an ex-frequent train user this drove me mad HOW can a robot be sorry? Grrrrr!!!

OH does the f instead of th thing. We had a funny conversation about the movie 'Thor' (with me saying "four WHAT?") until I finally got the message.

And yes, other people... although I must admit I use ... (just did then) I elongate words (but only when typing to friends) and I use !!!! too much! <-- see? :rotfl::rotfl:

I am guilty of the word 'random' too - I am trying to stop it but its quite hard to get out of a habit once its there.

I found that they do that more in America. Maybe it's the British reserve, so we don't do it here. My daughter was a sock-puller-off'er and we were forever having people say " your daughter's not wearing socks!" as if we were some sort of bad parent. She was in a buggy and it was not cold, so it baffled me.

Why oh why do people pick up their dog poo in plastic bags then hang them in trees and bushes, sometimes really close to the dog poo bin.......

    Yes I am a ........ Person!
  • chav text as well, thats a huge pet hate of mine, unless you are texting a fellow chav, don't do it! especially "luv" and "ya", seriously how much longer does it take to write one additional letter?

and when people say I am ssssssoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired, thirsty, hungover etc, they need to be beaten with a dictonary. ssssssssssssssoooooooooooooooooooooo is not a word, never has been, never will be

and seeing .... is like nails down a drawing board, bil has ruined .... for life!

and leggings on women who then don't wear tops to cover their bums (i'm not small and I know the rules of correct legging wearing), it's not nice to walk behind a slightly larger lady with transparent leggings with bright underwear which her bum was eating, it just looks grim, and I'm still twitchy now!!!

lastly, oh picks his belly button, would I get my sentence reduced if it gets to the point where I beat him to death with a saucepan because I can't cope with this anymore!
