Need help with penalty charges and fraud

Hi guys, Someone who does not live and is not associated with me or my family is using our address to avoid paying for penalty charges. Since December we have received notices from Metropolitan police for a speeding charge and London Borough of Camden parking services for 4 seperate parking charges (we have just receive 2 charge certificates by camden parking services).
We have responded that we do not have any association with the person and camden parking services have responded stating that we have to write to the DVLA with sufficient evidence in order for DVLA to update their records.
My question is what counts as sufficient evidence?
Any additional help regarding this problem will also be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Not exactly sure on that to be honest, but the guys at pepipoo will know the answer for you, just go to the council parking forum and pose your question in a new thread.
https://www.pepipoo.comExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
It is not up to you to do their research for them. Simply tell them bluntly. NOT MY PROBLEM! If they cannot provide evidence stating you are this person or that he\she lives at your address then you have nothing to worry about.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

How do you know this? Are you opening the letters?
IME, the best way to deal with this is to simply stick them back in the post, unopened with - "Not known at this address - Please amend your records" written clearly on the envelope.0 -
It sounds like it might be time to write to the chief executive of Camden Council to complain about the actions of their parking department. You have notified them that the vehicle in question is nothing to do with your address yet they continue to harass you. This is not acceptable behaviour."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

Did you have a V5c turn up at your address for a car with this persons name on it? Or tax disc reminders? Or have you recently moved?0

You must get pepipoo forum help with this because, with unpaid parking charges with no response to the Orders for Recovery (which will follow those Charge Certs) bailiffs could turn up. Pepipoo will tell you how to respond to the Orders for Recovery properly. Not by phone call and not by just returning the letters!
Not saying bailiffs can take anything because of course they can't if the person doesn't even live there but this would make your family's life very difficult!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for the responses and advice.
I will take your advice and ask for help on pepipoo.
@pogofish we didnt open the letters at first and simply ignored them and returned the letters saying this person does not live at this address but its been 2 months now and the letters are still arriving and escalating.
@esmerobbo no only penalty charge letters have been turning up. We have been living in the address for 8 years now.0
