Is it a photo of your own? or from the internet?

If it from the internet, right click on the photo/image and you will see an option to copy image URL

Then click on this icon from the icons above, insertimage.gif then paste your URL into the box

Then click save, just like i have done below, hope that helps

    One option

Register for a free account with image shack

    http://imageshack.us/

Click browse to locate the image, set to do not resize, click upload now

Wait till it uploads, click the words direct link, wait till the image opens, copy the url from the address bar.

Click to reply to a post, or post a new topic, click go advanced

Above the text box, underneath the arrow pointing down, click the icon almost like an envelope, (insert image), paste the url in the box which opens, wait till the image loads, preview or submit the post

Check that when you paste in to the box you leave the http:// blue so you paste over it with the link from your address bar, so there is not two http://

Yes, just click the link for image shack, then register as it is the only way to have access to the direct link, which you need to insert.

Once registered, click browse, then find the file on your PC. If the file is in the wrong format (unlikely), the site will say so.

When you say `my documents` do you mean `pictures` if yes, then you need to follow the instructions that Santer gave me.

Otherwise I am sure Santer will advise you better than me.
  • have tried uploading from image shack but it says I can't as i'm a new user ??
