I have a big OD and have been paying the fees monthly(it is over 2500) so around 60 a month on fees(for about 9 months)
I have not been able to pay off any of the balance as just about managed the fees
my husband has not had any work now (agency staff) and I am a student so this month cannot pay the fees so it will go into unarranged OD
has anyone been in this situation? what are the halifax like if I asked to go on a payment plan? at the minute I could afford only £25 per month but I graduate soon and have a job so could increase this to £100 come the summer so I do want to pay it off, just in a bit of a pickle at the minute.
I cannot have a student account incase anyone suggests as I had this for over the max years they allow and I have defaults within 6 years so doubt I could transfer the balance somewhere else:(
