Help with refund please

Hi,

I have received an offer from BOS of £8167.53 :j:j regarding 2 loans and was wondering if someone could have a look and see if offer seems right not good with calculations, the details are:

Loan 1 started 22/07/2003 paid when I took second loan on 24/04/2006(Apr 6.8%)
loan amount:£15000
Insurance: £7946.40
over 84 mths @ £346.70

Offer is:
refund of premiums: £2778.47
refund of interest: £747.78
8% interest to 12/01/2012: £1777.98
excess balance and interest: £530.42

TOTAL: £5834.65

Loan 2 started 24/04/2006 (Apr 7.7%) paid off in 08/2007 (was really struggling with the repayments so ended up re-mortgaging my property with BOS to pay off the loan)
loan amount: £17500
Insurance: £2177.53
over 48 mths @ £481.61

Offer is:
refund of premiums: £1294.41
refund of interest: £203.85
8% interest to 12/01/2012: £834.62

TOTAL: £2332.88

PPI was added because I was told that it was recommended to take it with the loan, I didn’t need it as get sick pay with employer, I also have my own policy which covers me.

Hi weechicken, they look Ok to me, you would have received rebates of PPI on both loans as they were both settled early
