i have a loo problem and don't use the chain at night, the paper goes into my green bin, my bill is now roughly £11 for sewage instead of £40

Some people use bricks, but that's not a good idea.
Just make sure the bags don't interfere with the arm or the ballcock. If the ballcock gets stuck down somehow the cistern will continually let water through and you'll find out whether your overflow is leak-proof!0 -
