Help!...can I re-claim Barclays Mortgage "Further Advance" Fees?

Hello,

This is my first time in the chat forum, and I'm really hoping that someone reading this may be able to answer my question.

Over the past few years I have had a couple further advances on my mortgage through Barclays Bank (my mortgage and current account is with Barclays), each time a valuation or surveyors visit was not necessary yet I still got walloped with a Further Advance Fees, please can you tell me if this is at all re-claimable and how best I should word it in the 1st para of the Initial letter you send to the Bank asking for a list of the charges.

I would be very grateful for any help you can give me.
