easycar scam

I booked two weeks' car rental in Florida with alamo through easycar. The terms posted on the easycar website were clear:
"included in your booking cost
Roadside assistance: 24 hour roadside assistance is provided"
On taking delivery of the car from alamo I was told that I had to pay an extra $69 if I wanted roadside assistance, because of some problem with their system, but that I would have my credit card reimbursed on return. I paid, reluctantly. Having returned the car, easyjet and alamo are now both refusing to reimburse me, because they say the assistance is not included, in spite of the clear terms on the easycar website.
I find this simply incredible. On the face of it, it looks just like a scam. The terms are so clear, but they are refusing to honour them. If they do this, they can charge whatever they feel like to your credit card. Avoid these two companies.

I would bombard them with emails until they became glad to pay me to go away.A friend is someone who overlooks your broken fence and admires the flowers in your garden.0

If you paid the $69 by credit card, report it to them. Amex were brilliant to us when a car hire firm in Portugal ripped us off. Good luck x0
