I've just been told this on the phone despite no mention of it on their website, is this correct?
I was planning to 'switch' my Halifax account to set up a new HSBC one to get the 6% but the girl said as I already enjoyed the "perks" of a student account I couldn't get this.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
