what one you listening to I listen to k92fm its pretty good

Usually but it has been cutting off a lot lately so I started listening to Bob in south carolina but because its Sunday there is a woman talking about local issues so I found one in Canada.

It was on in the background whilst I was tidying up so not really concentrating, then they gave the weather forecast, more snow showers today, in a split second I was confused snow showers in Orlando ! then I realised.

A most productive day at Mr T's yesterday! Went to 5 in all and here are the abbreviated "highlights" :D

1st store , got refund for a DTD item on a non-golden receipt, I was expecting a trouting but they were lovely and gave me back the amount I should have paid no problem. Same store, got 8 x 1p Temptations through a manned till:T and told SA where to find them!! Also used my price check that I mentioned the other day,I had taken some of the items on it back while I waited 3 days for it to come through. No problem using said price check voucher:T

BC on Temptations box is 5493...big thanks to the OP.

Later got a nice DTD on some sleeping bag liners, sel £2 charged £7 lol paid to take away!!:rotfl: Again huge thanks to the OP! B/C is 3230.

Also something to watch out for, I tried to use the eat live enjoy voucher from the magazine, didn't realise it expired on the 7th Feb... Put said eat live enjoy whoopsie back, wasn't paying 87p for it!!

Not a bad day all in all, I could have missed a couple of stores as I found nothing in them at all :( but I can't complain!

    :T:T:T

I know some of you go to the Upp3r B04t P0ntypr199 "extra" as they are now calling it , can you tell me please is there a scanner there now? The one in the biscuit aisle is gone...

Well done smart1e, which store did you find the sleeping bag thingies?
I haven't been to upp3r bo@t for weeks sorry so I don't know about the scanners.
I'm staying indoors today, had a headache all morning :(

    Sis, you've got pics I haven't got.

I've got loads of pics you haven't got. I should warn you that Brazil, Argentina, Uraguay, Peru and Machu Picchu pics are bit thin on the ground due to my camera being stolen. Still a good excuse to go back :D

If you go to Queenstown you have to try a Fergburger.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Oh Nikkilala, I think I saw those today, were they in a box together or just loose on the shelf? Do they have a little rabbIt face on them?

Ive got some cheap battery operated ones from Wilkos with a little light that comes on when you grind, (obviously for seasoning in the dark:rotfl:) but the little bulb keeps falling out into my food, so really need a new pair!

...was it 63p each or for the pair? (not that Im a tight bum of course, just askin'!)

I wish I could find these - I have been half way round the North West looking for them (slight exaggeration, but I have been to loads and loads of stores) with no luck. Think they are really handy.

I saw what I thought were these salt/pepper one handed grinders in my extra along with all the other salt/pepper grinders. SEL was £8.25 each and scanned at that.

Just catching up but this is how they are packaged and think it was just a fluke I found them, as no SEL for them B/C ends 1623 Be back when I've caught up and afternoon everyone, blimming chilly here:(

Instead of Goa why not try Kerala ?
I must admit I enjoyed it more than Goa (both have the postives & negatives )

My son left on Friday to do 3 months charity work with Raleigh International and I think their start point was Kerala! He has no idea what to expect, I did try to prepare him, but I'm just his mum! What would I know?!!
  • I'm going to fall out with other upstairs neighbour soon. Him and his pals are all fit young lads and they run up and down the stairs two stairs at a time and banisters shake and vibrate something terrible. Given that all the bedrooms are next to the stairwell it real takes the biscuit when they come in at 4am:mad:
