    Your post has just inspired me to drop them an email to compliment their service about my complaint last week, 1 bag rubbish doughnuts at 65p - money card for £5 in post today!

    Finger's crossed!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Good girl.. Tesco is fab as there are so many ways that we can take advantage!
  • 20 minutes in all I've managed to do is unpack the ingredients, open a bottle of wine and line the cake tin. Who would have thought that lining a cake tin would be such a challenge?

    Now HC, is the wine for you or the cake ;)

    I'm hoping they take my gushing compliments in the genuine way they were intended, their service was most excellent!!! In a Bill and Ted not sarcastic at all way lol!!!

    I may email them some more in the future...

    You will....and once you find one it's like an addiction!!

    BTW...noticed your signature. What's a sealed pot challenge. Is it a moneybox you can't open or something like that and you have a certain amount you want to save?
    My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

    I'm gonna down a bottle of two from my naked wine order (thanks OP). I have to admit the wine is not the best but after the first bottle, don't think I will care what it tastes like :rotfl:

    Which wine did you get, I went for 2 types of Rose but haven't tried them yet!

    Have always got flights on release but normally go away May/June. Going to Majorca, Camp de Mar & S'illot this year 10 days for 4 of us £800 inc car hire. Couldn't book for Dsd as she doesn't know her A'level exam timetable yet but if she wants to come it will her flights will be nearly half that:eek:
    QUOTE]

    That sounds like good value. We had the dreaded A levels to cope with last year, it really makes planning ahead difficult. When I booked our flights for summer this year, I asked DD if she wanted to accompany us, but she didn't know if she and BF were doing something. Now, guess what - they want to come with us and current price for our flights is more than double what I paid for us. So I'm keeping a close eye out and banking on the fact they'll drop a bit again when it gets a bit closer. Either that or I'll have to put the loyalty points from our bank cards towards them to get the cost down a bit.
    Hope is not a strategy.
