I needed a laugh and I larfed and I larfed at that, thanks MKS :j
Train was running on time and my friend was waiting for me at P'boro station so got straight home, sorted out my things and drove over to Kings Lynn hospital to see Alan, who had just been transferred from Surgical Assessment Unit to a Ward 5 minutes earlier. He hadn't had his op yet and was getting fed up and very hungry/thirsty as he hadn't had anything to eat or drink since Monday evening. He can ask for morph1ne if pain gets too bad. I stayed with him from 3.30 pm to 6 pm, and he was going to try to have a nap when I left. The anaesthetist came about 5.30 pm and told us that there was only Mr 3Dogs and one other chap still to go to surgery so they were next, but that if an emergency came in via A&E they would take precidence
Just heard from Mr 3Dogs again and he is not happy coz he is still waiting, he is starving, thirsty and fed-upI tried to cheer him up earlier by telling him that his beloved Sunderland had gone one up in their Cup replay, but then I had to let him know that Middlesbrough had equalised in second half
and now into extra time
Well sunderland have won just for him. That waiting when you know you are going down for surgery is awful, i wish they would paint nice things on the ceiling, you just have to lay there looking at a boring ceiling while they wheel you down, my Mum had her appendix out when she was 70 & was staying up to hear how he was but had to go to bed as she has a terrible cough thing at the moment, so she sends her best wishes as do i.
3 dogs you must be exhausted0 -

what does it mean:)
The people who were taking all the whoopsies then going back to get them reduced again were told they couldnt do that anymore....those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Hmmm I thought I read somewhere that the Gu coupon had been pulled? Not sure if that means not online or not to be accepted in store. Worth a try eh?
Good result though from your letter. I got caught up in whoopsie time by accident the other night. I was trying to walk to the end of the bread aisle but apparently the reductions had been done so I was literally blocked in at all sides. Figured I'd have a look but there were 3 people totally blocking the shelf. By the time they'd finished it was like vultures and a carcass. Managed a load of bread and some soda bread but all the good stuff had been nabbed :mad:0 -
Evening!
Had coffee with tinyshoes ths morning. Had to come home after i left as ds2 banged his head at school so he tagged along!
Waited in trolley area but had to move because he was chasing receipt around! Trained him well! No points but some for jtd.
First time ive been in tesco and not brought or been given anything!
Have just finished baking 120 heart shaped biscuits. Enough for ds2 and 3 to take to school tomorrow and everyoe getting one each. Have took a pic and finally managed to log into photobucket but cant seem to find the upload button. I can see some very old albums and created an mse one but it just says empty?! No button tab.
You will jst have to take my word for them being beautiful. Painted on a smaller heart with icing sugar mix, dipped in 100s and 1000s then sprayed with shimmer spray. Thought it would be a nice jesture for all the children.
Off to very warm bed, allbeit alone, with ipad, to watch the hotel and read through what ive managed to do towards my book. Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0
