If there is no indication on the receipt of any DTD then they won't know, so return it! And in this case you will get the full amount back as that's what's on the receipt, it's only if the receipt has been written on then it gets more confusing.

Golden receipt = return return return!!!;)

My store hasn't restocked the napkins Or else I would have price checked again today! But they were late stock arriving in my store, as I'm sure someone mentioned them a couple of weeks before I found them.

Golden receipt means you will get the price on the receipt as they won't know you have had DTD as nothing is written on it to tell them otherwise.

Personally I'd have contacted security and requested a viewing of the surveillance tapes followed by a very grovelling apology from CS lady along with a disciplinary for the person who claimed to have changed the labels when they hadn't. That kind of treatment of customers is simply not on.
