You not the only one who forgets. :rotfl:

I remember someone having trouble with their water meter and water board going on monday to check.

I would love to know how they went on.
So if you reading this hope everything went ok.
is this the post, by smart1e
This is a first for me as I never really share my worries so please bear with me:o

I had a letter today from Welsh Water saying here is your bill and btw we notice your water consumption has significantly increased:eek:...kind of 3 or 4 times what I use, I am on a meter.

Checked the reading and not only was it right but it's also gone up by 10 units,I think it's 10 cubic metres of water in 1 week since it was read:eek:...there are not enough  for this.

The letter says we are sending an inspector round, job number but no time or date so I rang them up...after some faffing the girl seems really cheerful and kind and said it could be a fault with the meter but the inspector will tell you more. I am so worried that it won't be that simple because pretty much everything else involves me paying to fix it and I can't afford that:( I can't see any obvious leaks anywhere but the mud which is under the meter below the pavement is quite wet but I can't see anything leaking and that could be rain although it hasn't rained for 4 or 5 days.

I'm praying to God that the meter is at fault but I am really worried this will be my problem and not theirs, also how the hell will the bill be sorted out?

Have any of you had anything like this before? As I said I usually keep my worries to myself but we are a helpful bunch on here so I feel better already!:T Any advice appreciated....TIA!

    Sorry for long post too!

    I like making cocktail kebabs!

Cubes of feta wrapped in ham, slide onto a cocktail stick, top with a stuffed olive or cherry tomato.

    Evening all!

    Huge congratulations Karlie :T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Went to T's today with a huge list and came away with absolutely nothing  The Vaseline gift sets scanned at £6. Couple of out of date SELs on printers but scanned correctly! No 1p anythings! And no bicarbonate of soda for making flapjacks :(

I can't remember who posted a few days ago about how to get pink out of white clothes?? Washed DH's jumper and it has turned pink :o I e-mailed the company as it was the red in the jumper that ran. They are giving a refund but I thought I might try to rescue it. TIA x
