In which aisle have people found the Carbon monoxide detectors that are on clip strips and are scanning cheap?

I can only ever find them on the shelve near lightbulbs and they are full price.

When I found mine in Ba**ow Extra it was all on its own clip strip handing by the laundry items on the opposite side of this aisle are other household items, including torches, and did see some other CM detectors on a shelf, but they are obviously new stock as they are full SEL price about £17.** something.

Found one Cars candy canes 1p today so had to carry it home dated 2013 so OK to keep for a while LOL

Remember the Basildon Bond paper and envelopes mentioned weeks and weeks ago they have just appeared in the clearance aisle at 35p and I think 37p each with correct SEL.
Hello HC hope you are keeping well and we hear from you soon.

Thanks Fudge, really hoping my mum is on the mend now, not getting too hopeful until after the weekend as each weekend seems to bring a crisis.

Think she must be over the worst now though as she is giving the nurses hell, so much so we have been told only to go during visiting and until today we have been encouraged to be there as much as possible.

    So here goes again

If the 75p sel was for exactly the same product that you purchased, then a dtd refund of £13 would definately apply.
If it was for a different item (or even similar) then cs may argue the point. However in your case the cs sa confirmed the item should have been £2, so in fact confirmed an overcharge of £2 on each item anyway. You should therefore be entitled to a dtd refund of at least £8, for the confirmed overcharge.
I would contact HO and explain the situation. I'm sure they will agree and either send you a giftcard or give you a ref number to take back to the store.
    hth :)
hi ty do i write to ho of the tesco i went to orphone them havent had chance to do it yet been busy today they did confirm should have been two pound should have been given 8 pound thats what i thought ty for your help

A quick question for all you cooks out there...

Ive not baked anything for 15-20 years (single bloke...yada yada yada..! ) I do cook though...:p

Anyhoo Im thinking of making some flapjacks, ive got some porridge oats (free with coupons) I know I'll need some golden syrup but could I replace the syrup with Honey as ive plenty of that.

I have some easy recipes which are fine...

Was also thinking of baking some cookies so again could I use Honey or would they just end up like doughy flapjacks ? :(

BTW the Honey was 10p a bottle last year when T's were selling off the passover stuff and yes ive been sorting my cupboards out...am making room for the next big glitch..:wink::wink:

it's awful when real life kicks in . I'm getting letters from the Office of the Public Guardian as I elected to become power of attorney for my Dad who is quickly losing his marbles .
It told him all will be ok as next year we'll take up conkers ...., you goota laugh as the alternative isn't that much fun .

real life eh , where would we be with out it .
I can sympathise. My Mum had Alzheimer's before she died. I quickly learnt that a sense of humour is vital in dealing with the day to day stuff. The more advanced it gets, the more important it is to try and find a way to deal with it.

Not had chance to catch up (again!) or even do a thorough look round Mr T's (did main shop in under an hour last night)

W3st Du77ington seems a bit carp for 1p items :( I did find the surf but they would not scan and SA said they showed as not on file so even though she would have happily sold them to me for a penny (and got some herself) she just couldn't. No mars there, but I did find T's own milk choc big buttons 170g for 25p a bag. Bc 1381. Sorry can't do bold on my mobile.

Hope everyone's ok. I'm off to tidy whole house as my mum is moving in for the weekend whilst I help my friend celebrate her 40th Birthday with a drunken weekend at Butlins!! :)

I've flatly rejected any pain killing options in my case. Might seem a bit stubborn, but pain is the body telling you to stop doing something. If you can't feel the pain then goodness knows what long term damage you are doing. Anyway hope you get better and my two week trial of testing the elbow is positive. What I don't need is any more glitches that involve carrying heavy baskets or pushing trolleys:rotfl::rotfl:

No I completely understand what you mean about painkillers. But it got it the stage where I couldnt use my right arm and just had to do something. I'm not taking painkillers now and am in agony again, up every hour with the pain so the steroid will just give me relief while I wait for the hospital. Got my OH to come with me to T's last night to push the trolley;) Oh gawd feeling right sorry for myself now:o but hey ho, I'm a woman and we carry on ;) But I've stopped trying to do everything now and told my lot that they're going to have to help out a bit more till I get over this little blip. Sorry moan over:o and my poorly arm is nothing compared to what lots of people are going through. So sending out some more hugs to anyone that needs them, actually I might just catch one myself;):rotfl::rotfl:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

Honey is fine for the flapjacks

    -125g butter
    -1/2 cup/125g sugar
    -2 tablespoons honey
    -1 cup/125g flour
    -1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 1/2 cups rolled oats
Cream butter, sugar and honey together until pale. Sift flour, baking powder and cinnamon together. Add sifted ingredients and rolled oats to creamed mixture, stirring well. Roll tablespoon of mixture into balls. Place on greased oven tray. Flatten with the use of a floured fork and bake at 180 C (360 F) for 15 minutes or until golden. YUM!
