home made soup with plenty of veggies and that bread , sounds good to me artha .
must admit i love my mams lentil soup with grated veg , lots of veg .

I used to love my mams soup(not veggi) made with few pieces of neck end of lamb for flavour. She used to steam suet dumplings at the same time. Some would go into the soup as a "filler" and some we would have as a sweet with jam. I try to emulate this these days with a bit less fat for health reasons but bit never tastes the same:(

Sorry, how rude of me :o, Good afternoon everyone :)
I've decided that I'm pants at this keeping up lark as sleep just seems to be getting in the way :(
I make copious notes and then every time I manage to catch up, I either fall asleep or have to do something else, before I get the chance to post :o
I have loads of pics to post of things I have found over the last month, so my mission tomorrow (have to go to the hospital now) is to try and post as many pics as I can :)

    In the meantime:

Huge congrats to Karlie :j:j and well done on your job offer :T

3dogs, I do hope your friend starts to feel a bit better soon :( She is so lucky to have a good friend like you. Also happy that Mr3dogs physio is going well, but do hope he gets that knee sorted out soon.

FloFlo, I'm so sorry to hear your mum is so unwell. It's really stressful when someone you love is in hospital. Sending huge :grouphug:'s and lots of :heart2: to you and your family.

Bargains4365 - barcodes are: Toy story lunch bag - 38012
Toy story diecast car - 74352
Toy story cutlery set - 38197
    Barbie video girl - 81864

Wendyak - thanks for noticing and for your concern :A. Just being here makes things a little better as you guys never fail to make me smile :) I think though it will just be down to time for me, until things start to even out a bit, as everything with my dad and work is a bit out of my hands at the moment :(, my trip to the GP on monday may help things a little too I hope ;)

Fourp - So sorry to hear about your dad :( it must be really hard not being as near as you want to be and tough on your mum. Sending you and your family lots of :heart2:

Lovingtescosforever - There isn't a limit of bags reused at a ss till, as far as i'm aware. I think from memory (i'm rubbish at remembering to enter mine) you can put in about 3 then after that it just asks for an sa to confirm the amount. hth :)

I've probably missed loads of people out :o, sorry, I will try and catch up a bit more later, but huge :grouphug:'s and lots of :heart2: to all those who need it.

And finally here is my 1p xmas chocolate finds so far, with huge :T:T to all op's. There was also a pack of 5 mini Lindt bears, but I'm afraid these were decapitated in the car before I made it home :o

I can sympathise Artha, I've had mine for two years, had steroid injections and just about to have another one, not the answer but it kills the pain for a few months and I don't want to keep taking painkillers:( I'm having physio but only while I'm waiting for the hospital to agree the op that my doctor wants me to have. I wasnt going to have another steroid but even the physio agreed it's the best thing for now. It's such a daft thing but it really makes things hard, mines my right arm and I'm right handed! My OH took all the ironing to the ironing shop this week and it broke my heart;)but he paid. The physio went mad when I admitted that I'll happily do 3 or 4 hours ironing:eek:

I've flatly rejected any pain killing options in my case. Might seem a bit stubborn, but pain is the body telling you to stop doing something. If you can't feel the pain then goodness knows what long term damage you are doing. Anyway hope you get better and my two week trial of testing the elbow is positive. What I don't need is any more glitches that involve carrying heavy baskets or pushing trolleys:rotfl::rotfl:

In which aisle have people found the Carbon monoxide detectors that are on clip strips and are scanning cheap?

I can only ever find them on the shelve near lightbulbs and they are full price.

I'm guessing it's the ones that look a bit like this?

No 10p Mars bars for me though :(
