Miss Laid - love your siggy, makes me smile every time I see it

I've just baked some scones and whipped up some cream. Am chuffed to bits with them but will admit, the mixture was out of a packet :rotfl::rotfl: One of these days I will be brave enough to bake from scratch!

Planning a trip to T's after tea not needing anything in particular but thought I'd go for a nose because I haven't been out all day!

S.nas - can't believe you found some 4p clothes and I'm so jealous of your WTP haul. I only got 2 WTP teddies but my store doesn't have the photo frames, mugs or any other characters. I love WTP! I painted this for my DSs playroom

Fudge2 - I'm so sorry for the way your dad's being treated, have you complained formally about it? They sound awful at that hospital! No way should he be spoken to or treated like that, makes me soooo angry to hear these tales!!!! :mad::mad::mad:

I hope the next op is more of a success and he feels better in himself at least afterwards xxx

You can use manufacturers coupons for a T on-line shop. When shopping is delivered, driver will scan them with his hand-held reader to make a note of how many and take them back to store - they are processed in store and the total refunded to your card in 2-3 days.

I usually put mine in an envelope with name and address, number and total amount of coupons on outside, driver usually adds the order no as well. I've never had any issues, but I know some stores are more geared up to this than others. Worth checking with your store if you want to shop on-line and use coupons.

I wondered if I should offer to give her something of my shopping so it would bump her bill up and i would give her the cash, but decided in the end that if she was stupid enough to turn down that much money from fuel, she clearly didnt deserve to have the voucher in the first place :rotfl:

Evening everyone, just checking in quick before dinner, I am shattered I truly am getting too old to do the night shift on here;):rotfl: DH has cleared me a nice path in the garden because if their is the slightest bit of ice I'll find it and slip,I'm so accident prone;)Having withdrawals already because having my steroid tomorrow afternoon in my arm and doctor has said total rest for two days which means no computer:eek::eek: I never usually listen but this time am going totally by the book and behave. So no driving or mse for 2 whole days and if DH catches me sneaking on here he'll go mad:eek::eek: Just about to dish up a lovely roast with a rather large bit of whoopsied pork;)and pudding is whoopsied toffee apple crunch (25p from £2.50) and a packet of the 10p custard from ages ago. Hope everyones ok and staying snuggled in the warm:)

Thanks Kadison, the op is to slowly close the open wound in his leg, but they can only do a little at a time as the skin starts to grow back.
We've complained loads of times about loads of things. It took about 3 wks and a visit from the chef, just to try and get his meals sorted out (he's wheat intolerent) and yet still, every other day, they deny having his meal on the trolley and my mum has to go to the trolley and point it out to them :mad:, they don't even bother to look for it.
The other day, they just put it in front of him, without even checking it and it had a sponge (contains loads of wheat!!!) pudding on it :mad:

He's been in this hospital many times before and it's the same battles every time he's there, with the exception of when he was on the ICU, where I couldn't praise the staff more, they were all :A's

This is the same hospital he caught MSSA at when he had his heart attack. This was because the didn't change his cannular in time (they are dated). Yet still this time, when he asked to have his cannular changed, the nurse simply glanced at him and said 'it looks fine' and wandered off!! My mum had to go after her and tell her to come back and change it as it was dated and should have been changed over the day before :mad:

I have told my mum to speak with the hospital registrar, but not sure whether she will do it. Unfortunately, until my colds better, I can't go in and do anything

Sorry rant over, they just make me so angry :mad:
